ISLAMABAD engineering development board, in continuation to previous practice has initiaed

competitiveness and efficiency improvment exercise for the budget fy 2012-13,

to achieve the pbjective of ,,competitiveness and productivty,, many sectoral committees

FOR automotive sector-- steel sector-- chemical plastic and other mineral based products-- paper nad paper board

products sector-- electrical machinery and equipment pumps and motors and wires and cables sectors--

consumer electronics- home appliances and HVAC-

FANS  refectories and ceramics--

heavy engineering sector--

casting forgings ,medical equipment and hollow-ware

 have been constituted.which have been assigned the task of examining the proposals

 concerning their respective sectors, as are received from the industry, various

trade bodies and business houses.

all the stake-holders including concerned industry, trade association and business houses

etc send their proposals for the bugdet 2012-13 to their respective sectoral committees

for evaluation thereof.

The committees are assigned the task to redress the tariff and other related issues of the concerned local industry affecting their competitiveness, further expansion and entrance into the global market and send their proposals tariff proposal .
