2011: Over Rs6B vegs imported from India
Pakistan imported vegetables worth over Rs 6.47 billion and weighing more than 1.6 million metric tons from India during 2011.
According to Trade Ministry's report vegetables imports from India continued throughout 2011.
Not only vegetables like potatoes, tomatoes, garlic, sugar beet, cucumbers, beans, eggplants, corn, root vegetables but also potato seeds were also imported from India last year.
Certain fruits were also imported from India last year.
