NA passed the Federal Budget And all demands for grant for next budget



The National Assembly has passed the Federal Budget for the next financial year.
 ISLAMABAD JUNE 14,2012
The house passed the Finance Bill‚ 2012 giving legal cover to the budgetary proposals. Amendments moved by the Finance Minister were approved by the house and incorporated in the bill.
The National Assembly has adopted a resolution in favour of the ruling of the Speaker National Assembly in the Prime Minister's contempt of court case.
The resolution was moved by Law Minister Farooq H. Naik.
It said that the Speaker represents the House and is a symbol of the federation.
The resolution stated that the ruling of the Speaker is a part of proceeding of the House and therefore‚ it cannot be questioned.
Later‚ the National Assembly session was prorogued.

Earlier‚
The National Assembly on Thursday approved all the one hundred and fifty-one demands of grants for different departments worth two trillion seventy-eight billion nine hundred fifty-two million and four hundred thousand rupees.

Earlier‚ the cut motions moved by different members were withdrawn.

The PML-N members continued to protest by raising slogans against the government‚ Prime Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party.

The House has now started approving supplementary demands of grants.

The National Assembly also approved all the 134 Supplementary Demands for Grants and Appropriation worth six hundred two billion fourteen million and nine hundred and nineteen hundred thousand rupees for the year 2011-12.
Federal Ministers Syed Naveed Qamar‚ Makhdoom Shahabuddin‚ Riaz Hussain Pirzada and Minister of State Khawaja Sheraz Mahmood presented Excess Demands for Grants and Appropriation of various federal ministries‚ divisions and institutions for the years 1989-90‚ 1991-92 and 2005-06.
The National Assembly approved all the demands.
