The Prime Minister says Pakistan desires to resolve all outstanding issues with India through dialogue and peaceful means.

Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani says Pakistan desires to resolve all outstanding issues with India through dialogue and peaceful means.
In an interview‚ he said Pakistan expects positive outcome of defence secretary level talks between the two countries on the Siachen issue.
To a question‚ the prime minister said Pakistan Peoples Party has been a victim of electoral manipulations and the party is committed to plug loopholes through effective institutional arrangements.
He said hooliganism and unparliamentarily behaviour of the main opposition party cut the roots of democracy for which the people had rendered innumerable sacrifices.
To another question‚ Prime Minister Gilani welcomed the Supreme Court decision regarding submission of accounts of expenses by the contesting candidates and the checking of voters' list by the army and the FC.
Answering a question‚ the prime minister congratulated the legislators of PPP and its coalition partners in Punjab for upholding best parliamentary practices during the budget speech in the Punjab Assembly
