GOVERNOR STATE BANK CALLS ON THE PRIME MINISTER

Mr. Yaseen Anwer, Governor State Bank of Pakistan called on Prime

Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and briefed him on the current
economic situation in the country.
He also apprised the Prime Minister about efforts of the State Bank to
contain inflation and propel the national economy to increase economic
growth and employment generation.
The Prime Minister directed Governor State Bank to give priority to
provide relief to common man and strengthen the fundamentals of
national economy.
