Fauzia Wahab who was under treatment in Hospital died in Karachi on Sunday evening.
A PPP leader and Member National Assembly Fauzia Wahab who was under treatment in Hospital died in Karachi this evening.
She was fifty six and was under treatment after a gallbladder surgery for the last three weeks.
Her Namaze Jinazah (funeral prayers) will be offered at Mubarik Majid in Defence phase four tomorrow after zuher prayers.
Pakistan Peoples Party has announced to observe ten days mourning to pay homage to Fauzia Wahab.
PML (N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif has also expressed grief and sorrow over death of Fauzia Wahab.

President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of Ms. Fouzia Wahab, MNA of Pakistan Peoples Party and part of the President’s political office .
In his condolence message the President paid great tributes to her services for the Party saying that she was a steadfast loyalist of the Party who braved difficult situations. Her services to the Party would be long remembered. She died while fighting to strengthen the democracy and democratic institutions, the President said.
The President also lauded her services as Information Secretary of the Party and for the human rights in the country.
The President prayed for her soul to rest in eternal peace. He also prayed to Almighty to give courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.

has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of
leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Fauzia Wahab.
In a message of condolence, the Prime Minister prayed Allah
Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant
courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with
fortitude.
The Prime Minister lauded the services of Fauzia Wahab for the
country and party.
He said she was a committed party worker who stood with the
party for promotion of democracy and human rights.
He said Fauzia had an unwavering determination to promote
democratic values advocated by Pakistan Peoples Party.
Her services for the party will be remembered for long, the

Islamabad: June 17, 2012: Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Speaker and Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan have condoled the sad demise of Fauzia Wahab, Senior Leader of Pakistan Peoples Party.
In their separate condolence messages to the members of bereaved family, Speaker and Deputy Speaker expressed their heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise. They paid rich tribute for her services for promotion and restoration of democracy in the country. They said that Fauzia Wahab was a seasoned politician and legislator of high repute. “She rendered valuable contributions during her tenure as member of National Assembly” they added. They said that the vacuum created by her death is difficult to fill, her services for legislation and promotion of democracy in the country will be remembered for a long time to come.
They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.
