Pak ,National Database and Registration Authority identify the victims crashed Bhoja Airline plane


NADRA’s all-out resources, technology & national databaseto identify the 67victims  Of
Crashed Bhoja Airline plane
ISLAMABAD-21 April 2012: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has identified the bodies of 67 victims through its biometric identification system so far out of total 127 passengers and crew of the Bhoja Airline plane which crashed near Islamabad airport yesterday.

"Using our Automated Finger Identification System (AFIS) and Facial Recognition System (FRS), NADRA's dedicated tech-team identified 67 victims so far, as unfortunately hands and faces of some of the victims of air-crash tragedy were unrecognizable due to the wounds and cuts" said Tariq Malik, Deputy Chairman NADRA. He expressed deep sympathy with the families of tragic plane crash victims.

Malik promised that NADRA will walk extra mile to help victims of air crash to identify the loved ones so that they can have an honorable closure of the tragedy. "Our technical staff has been working round the clock right after the unfortunate plane crashed, and we will use all of our resources, technology and national database to identify the victims", said Malik

He said that all of NADRA employees are deeply aggrieved by the incident and praying to Almighty Allah to grant the departed souls a resting place in the heaven and give courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss.
