Islamabad; April 25, 2012: Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker has said that youth is future of the country and Pakistani youth has immense potential to meet the challenges being confronted to the country if they are provided appropriate opportunities. He said while addressing Convocation COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad Campus at Jinnah Convention Center, Islamabad today.
The Deputy Speaker said that the nation has a lot of expectation from its young generation and urged upon the youth to spend their all energies on their education and to prepare themselves to come up to the expectation of the nation. He said that the education is a life long process and not completed with obtaining the graduation degree only. He said that our religion gave importance to education as the very first word revealed to our Holy Prophet Peace be upon him was “Iqra”.
The Deputy Speaker said that hard work is key to success and there was no short cut in the life. He said that degree you have got today has become possible owing to your hard work. “Honestly and integrity were also imperative for success and without these qualities you could not achieve glory and fame” he said.
The Deputy Speaker appreciated the efforts of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Faculty Management and congratulated the students on completion of their education. Later on he awarded the degrees and medals to successful students.
