Ambassadors/HC present their credentials to the President‏
Islamabad, 12 July 2012:



Ambassadors designate of Kingdom of Thailand, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Nepal, Itlay, High Commissioner (designate) of Australia and ambassador designate of Germany today presented their credential to President Asif Ali Zardari at an impressive ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.



After presenting their credentials, the ambassadors separately called on the President and discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.



The President while felicitating the newly appointed ambassadors expressed the hope that they will work for further strengthening the existing ties of their respective countries with Pakistan.



Earlier, upon arrival of ambassadors (designate), Mr. Marwin Tanattananwin of Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Volodymyr Lakomov, Ukraine, Mr. Roumen Pirontchev, Bulgaria, Mr. Bharat Raj Paudyal, Nepal, Mr. Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani, Italy, Peter Heyward, High Commissioner of Australia, and ambassador Dr. Cyrill Jean Nunn of Germany at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, national anthems of Pakistan and their respective countries were played and the ambassadors were presented Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army.
