Federal Minister for Professional and Technical Training, Sheikh Waqas Akram called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at PM’s House this afternoon and discussed matters relating to National Education Foundation (NEF) and National Commission for Human Development (NCHD).
The Prime Minister said that adult literacy has been one of the priorities of the government and it would be pursued vigorously through these programmes. He said that all issues relating to NCHD and NEF would be resolved.
The Federal Minister also briefed the Prime Minister about the performance of the Ministry and steps being taken for promotion of professional and vocational training in the country aimed at equipping the younger generation with the modern technologies to face the emerging challenges.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of Sheikh Waqas Akram.
The Federal Minister also informed the Prime Minister about the development projects of his area.
