Islamabad August 16, 2012: Speaker National Assembly has constituted a 14-member Commission for creation of new provinces in Punjab. Notification to this effect has been issued by National Assembly Secretariat, today.
The Speaker National Assembly has constituted the Commission in pursuance of the message received from the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and authorization by the National Assembly on 11th July, 2012.
The Commission comprises of Senators Farahatullah Babar, Syeda Sughra Imam, Haji Mohammad Adeel, Mr. Kamil Ali Agha, Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana, Molana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and MNAs Mr. Arif Aziz Sheikh, Jamshaid Ahmad Dasti, Syed Ali Musa Gillani, Mrs. Tahmina Daultana, Ch. Saud Majeed and Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar.
Two Members of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab would be included as and when their nominations are received from the Speaker Provincial Assembly, Punjab.
