ISLAMABAD, Jan 12: Iranian Ambassador in Pakistan Ali Raza Haqiqan has said that there is need to speed up the efforts of unity of the Muslim Ummah, adding the services of late Milli Yakjehti Council President Qazi Hussain Ahmed for the unity of the Muslim Ummah would be remembered forever.
He said that such kind of personality should come in front of masses who, feel problems of Muslims; meanwhile the Presidential Spokesman Farhatullah Babar also paid rich tribute to the services of Qazi Hussain Ahmed for the unity of Muslims.
Iranian ambassador and presidential spokesman said this while addressed the gathering at Jamia Masjid Darusslam, which was organized for offering fateha for the departed soul of Qazi Hussain Ahmed. The program was organized by JUI-F leader Dr Abid Orakzai and Naib Khatib Lal Masjid Amir Siddiq. The ceremony was attended by all the people of all schools of thought. Iranian Ambassador Ali Raza Haqiqan, Presidential Spokesman Farhatullah Babar, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami AJK Abdur Rashid Turabi, former ISI chief gen (retd) Hamid Gul, Maulana Abdul Rashid Hazarvi, Tariq Hanif Wahidi, Dr Hafiz Ziaur Rehman, Mian Muhammad Aslam and others. The Fateha was lead by Maulana Sharif Hazarvi. Rich tribute was presented to the services of the Qazi Hussain Ahmed.
Iranian ambassador said that the mission of Qazi Hussain Ahmed should be continued, adding that the efforts for the unity of the Muslim Ummah should be continued. He said that the Muslims have become bid force of world today, adding that we should have to recognize this force.
He said that Iran would spend all resources for the solution of the problems of the Muslim Ummah, adding that the enemy should not be allowed to divide the Muslims.
Farhatullah Babar said that Qazi Hussain Ahmed is seen with great respect in the political circle, adding that the services of Qazi for national unity would be remembered forever.
